Weardrobe Conference: Day Four (Final) Recap

Trite but completely true intro: Our final day at the Weardrobe NYC Conference was full of laughter, tears (started with Jessica and then hit everyone like dominoes), bagels, danishes and a clothing swap. Oh, and a homemade photo booth! Everyone came in at different times, so I only have pictures of the gals who were there when I first arrived.

Every time I saw Amy, I just wanted to give her a big hug. She is the sweetest girl.

Much like her highly informative blog, Greta provided us all with useful tips that I actually employ. She’s like this little encyclopedia of beauty tips. I’m so excited that she lives nearby!

Kyla and Sara, whom (along with Erin) I bonded with after the long walk back to the hotel. We sat in their room for a bit and I got a wee bit envious of the slumber party vibe they had! It made me want to have a slumber party at my apartment; I used to have them from time to time and they were always a blast.

Rebecca and Erin, the other half of the room, and then again with Sara creeping on them. I love the mix of emotions: Rebecca is a fierce tiger/monster, Sara is scared of her and Erin is aloof.

Courtney/Joelle Van Dyne: One half of The Owls Are Not What They Seem duo. I sneaked into the pictures with her and tried to secure my spot as an owl replacement. It didn’t work out but I’m going to see if I can be their third owl – I’m cool with being a hanger-on. Did you gals notice my owl necklace in my last outfit post?

Krystal and Katy. Krystal was one of the first girls I talked to; she’s a really cool girl. She left me with serious hair envy (I miss my long, dark hair!). Katy joined Amy in the awww I just want to hug you category. I know I’m a creep but there are just those people that have really warm smiles that make you want to pick them up and put them in your pocket. Also, how is this for a small world? Krystal is from Reno and knows my cousins! So weird.

Krystal, Rich, Suzanne, Tavi and Sara.

I’m sad that it’s over but the good thing is that several of the girls live in the city, and soon Suz and Rich will too! Now that Fashion Week is over, hopefully we’ll all have a little more time on our hands and can coordinate something. And now I’ll have time to play dress up with all of my goodies!

I want to thank Suzanne, Rich and Jessica for including me in this wonderful weekend. You guys did an amazing job!
