Makeup, Outfits

I could tell when she kissed me, she knew how to give a kiss.

You can see little Miku’s ears in the bottom corner. She is my constant companion.

This one is for my mom. She cringes when she sees bad posture (I have horrible posture, especially when I laugh; I need to work on that). I like to give her a hard time.

MAC Russian Red…this lipstick never quits.

The first time I wore these shorts, I got a lot of negative feedback. Don’t worry, I am not expecting anything different this time around. I understand that they are not for everyone, but after much consideration I have decided that they are staying in my closet. I completely respect your opinions, but sometimes I just have to stand by my own taste, you know? I will probably look back on this and think, “they were totally right, these are horrible.” Right now, however, I think they’re fun. I consider my clothing choices little booster shots of varying emotions. Cheerful colors make me happy, soft colors make me feel romantic, so on and so forth. On this particular day, I was in major need of a pick-me-up, so I put on the brightest of reds. Naturally, I made sure my lips matched.

Outfit Details:

vintage shorts – Jet Rag, Los Angeles
tights – H&M
shoes – Calvin Klein, from Beacon’s Closet
Miku – she slid down a rainbow that originated in Candy Land

Love love,
Keiko Lynn

p.s. I regret that my beret is not a raspberry hue, but I gave that one away to a lovely model well over a year ago. Rest assured, I will find another one and I will listen to Prince every single time I wear it. I’m actually listening to that song right now, hence the title. Where have all the raspberry women gone?
