I’ve only been back in NYC for a week, but I’m already missing the sunshine and warmth, something fierce. Don’t get me wrong — I love my statement coats and over the knee boots, but I could do without the chapped skin and short days. This 60s inspired mod jumper has been a go-to, no matter the weather: here, with a vintage blouse and block heeled sandals, and now, with tights and a leopard print coat. Or really, any number of ways. More and more, I’m gravitating toward clothing that can be worn over and over, and I’ve been whittling down my overstuffed closet. I’ll never let go of my statement vintage — at least, not all of it — but I’m trying to streamline at least a little. You know, things that can be paired with my statement vintage. It’s a happy compromise.
