Petticoat Blush Duvet and Shams  c/o Shabby Chic, IKEA bed frame that I’ve had forever, vintage syroco floral wall hanging (this vintage one is very similar and only $18, and this one might be exact).

I’ve mentioned before that one of the ways I change up my room is by swapping out my duvet cover and shuffling tchotchkes; it’s not only a way to make sure I always have clean bedding in my linen closet, but also a good way to make sure my random vintage collections get some time on display. But I’m having a hard time going back to anything else, after putting on this new Shabby Chic bedding. Why didn’t anyone ever tell me how heavenly it is to sleep with linen bedding?! I’ve been ruined.  As for my tchotchkes, I have vintage suitcases that hide what’s not currently in use. I would’ve shown you a snap of the rest of my room, but truth be told, it was an absolute mess. I actually think I shared a quick snap on my snapchat …suitcases and laundry bags and random clothes and bags hanging from my door…yikes. It’s time for a major clean up! And then I’ll do an updated room tour. I’d like to show  you some more of my treasured vintage collections, especially after speaking to some of you about your collections.

It seems like just as soon as I got home from LA, I headed off to Florida. The few days between were spent in bed, sick with a cold and cuddling with Miku and the cats. I was (and still am) still battling a bad cold in these photos, but I managed to shower/comb my hair/put on a lip stain and some blush for the first time in days (don’t worry, I showered every day)…just to get back in bed and then onto the sofa for a marathon of Stranger Things. When I’m sick, I like to binge watch a show I’ve been wanting to check out, and I have to say that this one definitely lived up to the hype. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it! What have you been watching, lately? What is your go-to, when you’re not watching something new? Some of my go-tos for late nights — when I’m working on the computer and need some background entertainment —  are Bob’s Burgers, bad reality shows (we call them my “bad shows”), Golden Girls, and My So-Called Life, when I’m feeling nostalgic (which is often).

I’m currently sharing a hotel room with my aunt and my sister, so I’m sitting in the dark and catching up with my podcasts — through headphones, of course. I’ve been working on a list of my favorites (and there are many), so I’ll share that with you very soon. In the meantime, please let me know if you have any recommendations on the following: tv shows, books, movies? I like to keep a list going, so I always have something new to check out. You all have never let me down with your recommendations!
