Sephora Cream Lip Stain in “Pink Soufflé”

I love unexpected color combinations, like this mix of blush and marigold. Or maybe it’s just unexpected to me, because I sometimes fall into a routine of specific color stories. I found this blouse at a thrift store in Florida, and I think I’ve worn it more than any new/full price blouse I own. I’ve worn it with cutoffs, boyfriend jeans, an a-line button up skirt, high waisted skinnies, and how you see it here. Don’t overlook an 80s top with aggressive shoulder pads…sometimes just a simple removal is enough, or you can make minor alterations at the shoulder seam, so it sits properly on your shoulder (which can transform a dated top or dress…something I do a lot). This one has a relaxed fit and no shoulder seams, so I just used a seam ripper to get rid of the padding. Considering I spent maybe $3 on it, I’d say it was a good investment.

Start writing here. Your outfit looks definitely anything but boring. Very cute and chic. The most I like the coat, seem very warm and cozy.

Love it. I have several 80’s blouses that I’ve de-padded — makes all the difference.

LOVE the color combo here and also – DYING over that coat. It is finally (finally!) starting to feel like fall in LA, and I’m maybe a little too excited about it. I shared some fall style (and a fun textured sweater) also if you’d like to see. 🙂

I love everything about this outfit. I am in love with mustard yellows and I’m always on the search for really great vintage floral prints. It’s difficult for me to find a design I love with a color combination I love, all in one print. This blouse was a great find! I am definitely inspired by this outfit and I have also transformed blouses just by removing the shoulder pads. haha!
