If you’re planning a romantic dateĀ for Valentine’s Day, this warm, smoky eye tutorial is for you. I mean really, it could be for any day of the week, but there’s something very *~romantic~* about a smoldering eye, don’t you think? Want to learn how to recreate this warm smoky eye? Warm Smoky Eye Tutorial, Step By Step:

  1. ApplyĀ Urban DecayĀ Primer Potion all over lid and blend up up toward your brow bone.
  2. Fill in your lid and lower lash line withĀ MAC Kajal Crayon / Diane Kendal “Flourish Me Deep”Ā or any black liner. The reason I like this one in particular is because it is thick and has a nice slip to it; it glides onĀ and blends easily.
  3. Pat “Blackjack” fromĀ Urban DecayĀ Naked Ultimate Basics PaletteĀ (or any matte black shad0w) all over lid (over the liner you just applied).
  4. Using a pencil brush, sweep “Warning” from theĀ Urban Decay Full Spectrum PaletteĀ ) (a reddish shimmery copper) into your crease.
  5. Blend out with a blending brush to soften the lines.
  6. Pick upĀ “Extra Bitter” (warm rust) fromĀ Urban DecayĀ Naked Ultimate Basics PaletteĀ with the same blending brush and blendĀ between the other two colors for a moreĀ gradual fade. Without picking up any extra product, keep blending (using soft, sweeping circular motions) until you get the desired look.
  7. Using a flat smudge brush, pressĀ “Blackjack” into the lower lash line.
  8. Sweep “Extra Bitter” on the outer edges with a fluffy brush.
  9. Apply false lashes – or just mascara, if you have lashes unlike my short, straight ones.
  10. Pat a highlight on the inner corners (I used “Seize” fromĀ Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette). Done!
