How I stay warm in the winter

I found Olaf! He lives at Mohonk Mountain House. I’ll tell you more about our trip to this magical winter wonderland as soon as I’m done editing photos, but let’s just say I did NOT want to leave and I can’t wait to go back.

I have a major aversion to extreme temperatures: I don’t sweat, so I overheat and throw up or pass out when it’s super hot, and I get what I call zombie hands and feet when it’s cold. They turn white and blue and dark red. But thank goodness for panda mittens and Uniqlo’s heattech, which is the biggest life saver. It’s lightweight and great for layering.

While I pretty much lived in Madewell and AGOLDE jeans this week–I seriously get every penny’s worth out of those–layering heattech leggings underneath my favorite 200 denier h&m tights  made it so that I could wear dresses, too. Have you ever tried those tights? They last forever (seriously, I wash mine all the time and have had some of them for years) and are under $10 a pair.
