Bunnies

My string of bad luck has not yet come to an end (maybe it never will) but at least I am able to laugh at myself and my silly misfortunes. Even better, I have people to laugh with me…and a puppy who stands on her tippy toes, anytime she senses I need to smile. Easter was a great day full of good food, colorful eggs, bunny ears and lots of smiles. I can’t remember anything unpleasant about the day, which was a welcome release.

I’m starting to think that my luck is just mirroring my physical being…it’s just klutzy. Nothing major, just some trips and spills that leave little cuts and bruises – nothing a Hello Kitty bandaid can’t fix. If you have ever seen me in real life, you’d know what I’m talking about. I trip over my own feet, walk into walls, hit my head on everything…it makes for some very colorful limbs.

Bobby is a good sport. Unfortunately, he didn’t bring his lamb ears (how rude!) when he moved here; fortunately, I happened to have a spare pair of bunny ears. Why? Because you never know when you need to be a bunny, and two bunnies are always better than one. Miku’s bunny ears were purchased for this very Easter occasion. I can’t pretend I had those laying around.

I actually purchase this dress for Kimbly, but I decided to wear it once before passing it on. It is second-hand, so no harm in wearing it, right? I looked everywhere for my pearls and couldn’t find them. I swear, I am becoming my mom. She always puts things in a “safe place” and then can never remember where this “safe place” is. She just gave me this beautiful little vintage jewelry box but I’m having a hard time locating some of my most precious pieces. Thanks for the forgetful genes, mom! At least I now have a real safe place to keep them in…once I find them.
