Contrast

I came home to a stack of packages; I have never felt so special! Usually, I don’t get anything more than bills or return packages (it’s like a big “PSYCH!” every single time). It ended up being incredibly convenient, because I had nothing to wear. Almost everything in my closet, at the moment, is meant for fall or winter; everything else is in boxes or the dirty laundry. I put together this outfit with three of my newly opened items (two from ModCloth and one from Cambridge Satchel, and paired them with my all time favorite blouse, which cost me a whopping dollar. I used to have this blouse in two colors, and somehow the other one disappeared. Strange.

The combination of an electric blue body-con skirt, bright yellow satchel and lace blouse may seem odd, but I like the contrast. I don’t do all out sexy; it looks forced on me. I like a little more of a balance, of grown up and girly. As for the bag, it has quickly become my new favorite. I’m slowly getting back into smaller bags. My shoulder is thanking me.
