Weardrobe Conference Day One (I’m a little behind)

It has been an intense weekend – I can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of the Weardrobe Conference!

I feel kind of silly for being so nervous about meeting everyone. As it turns out, most of the girls were feeling the same way. We get along really well! It’s neat to see how different everyone’s style is.Italicย It’s quite a dynamic group.
I’m a little behind – most of the girls have been blogging everything like pros. I’m just now getting to the first day. Here’s a recap of day one:
Meetup at Gramercy Park Hotel (where all of the out of towners are staying)
Street style shoot with Eddie (oddly enough, he once took a picture of me on the street for style sightings)
Goodie bags! Some of our swag included things from: Necklush, Nooka watches, Victoria’s Secret, 80s purple,ย PacSun, Cheap Monday, seychelles, Indi Denim custom jeans, Payless, Hayden Harnett, Giltย , Ruche and so much more! That’s just off the top of my head.
Pizza dinner and getting to know each other
Here are some pictures from day 1 (I have more). Days 2, 3 and 4 coming soon…I need to borrow some pictures first!

Suzanne, co-founder of Weardrobe

The Glamourai, Style Pill and The Owls Are Not What They Seem (the two long haired ladies)

Suzanne, Fashion Pirate and Style Rookie (I want to keep her).

our shoes (what am I doing with my feet?)

opening all of our goodies!
I’ve pretty much failed at taking pictures the last couple of days, but I’m sure there will be a ton from everyone else. You can see a lot more atย http://nyc.weardrobe.com/

  1. It's like some far-away candyland, where good looking girls adorn themselves in gumdrops and pixie stix – except you can exchange the candy references for "killer shoes" and "impeccable pairing".

  2. I've followed your blog since it was on LJ. I looked for your pictures in all the various sites featuring this conference…and you're barely in any pictures! And in one video clip…you're standing alone! I was shocked… because even though you have admitted to being socially shy, your blog always showed such confidence and extroversion. I don't mean this as a put down observation… it was just something that surprised me. Some of those girls seem quite taken with themselves and their own image. Some look great, some look ridiculous. But nonetheless, the experience looked amazing and you must be thrilled to be featured. Great work!

  3. I've been trying to keep up with you girls, looks like it was an amazing weekend…can't say I'm not a little bit jealous! There should be a London blogger event! I can only hope…

  4. keiko! don't feel too bad! i still haven't even blogged about the weekend yet! so bad.

and i just have to tell you what a pleasure it was to meet you! and these photos are great. i'm so excited to see more!!!
