Florida has me completely fooled right now: I almost forgot that it’s Winter. I’ve been living in vintage cotton tees and jeans for most of my trip – and even though I brought several pairs of shoes with me, these little red flats have been on my feet almost every day. I now have scuffs all over the toes, because I trip over my own feet every few minutes if I’m not paying attention and keeping them straight. That’s just the life of a pigeon-toed gal. It’s kind of amazing that I don’t fall more often, considering that most of my shoes are ridiculously tall.

I’m heading back to Brooklyn on New Year’s Eve, because I have so many awesome parties to go to and sooo many boys to kiss at midnight because the flight was a lot cheaper and I have a hot date with Detectives Benson and Stabler. Bobby is working and I am a loser, so SVU will have to do/will be the best thing ever. I’m happy to get back to Miku, the cats, and Bobby, but I’ll be missing Florida and the weather and family that come with it. Luckily, I’ll be back in March for Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway Show (enter here), so it won’t be too long that I’m away. The kids grow up too quickly – if I’m away for more than a few months, I feel like I’ve missed out on their whole childhood!

Speaking of the kids, I went completely overboard with their Christmas presents. I didn’t realize it until I was wrapping them for two straight days and completely ran out of tags (even though I bought 50 and was taping presents together to stretch the tag usage). But they deserve it, because I have the best niece and nephews, ever. I also have the best sisters, and by sisters I mean Tessa, because she’s my favorite. The rest are alright, I guess. No offense, guys. No offense.
😉

Hope you had a great holiday!
