I love statement nails, but don’t always have the time or patience for nail art. The compromise? Glitter! I prefer my nails to be pretty opaque, so I started with a shimmery, gold metallic (Deborah Lippmann “Fake It ‘Til You Make It”) and then layered it with a coat of vibrant, gold glitter polish (Deborah Lippmann “Glitter and Be Gay”). Pictures don’t do the nails justice; the result is what I can only describe as party nails. Now, the only thing I’m dreading is removing the glitter. I always have a hard time getting it off my nails without a struggle and end up chipping it away (destroying my nails in the process). If anyone has some glitter polish removing tricks, please let me know!
