I just got back from my trip to LA, and one of the highlights was my stay at Disneyland with Urban Decay. They had a celebration for their new “Alice Through The Looking Glass” collaboration – which, by the way, is gorgeous (more on that, soon) – and on top of a very UD tea party at the Grand Californian Hotel (where we stayed), we all went to Disneyland for the day. I’m actually posting these backwards, because those photos will come next…but since the entrance to California Adventure was literally directly in our hotel (and Kim has an annual pass), we decided to spend our last day there. I had never been, so it was fun to go somewhere different! Disneyland is so different from Disney World, because it’s cute and compact and extremely walkable. Downtown Disney, Disneyland, California Adventure, and our hotel were all in the same spot. It made it so convenient! My favorite part of California Adventure was the Cars land…it was just about the cutest thing, ever. We ate the little retro diner, Flo’s V8 Cafe, and Kim had ice cream from one of the treat cones at the Cozy Cone Motel, where everything is orange, the buildings are large parking cones, and each one has a designated treat: nachos, churros, ice cream, etc.If only every place were as colorful and retro as that. In my dreams!
