Hair Tutorial: How I Style My Bangs (video)

One of my most frequently asked questions is: how do you style your bangs? There are a few different ways I style them, so I started with this version and will follow suit with the side-swept version of how I style my bangs (pssst: verrrry similar approach). On the day to day, I mostly do a rough dry with a blow dryer, messing them up back and forth so they don’t go flat in either direction, and then just shape with my fingers and spray. But if I want them to look just so (and stay put), this little extra step with a 1 and 1/4 inch curling iron makes a world of difference. It takes no time and is my preferred way to style my bangs, so watch the quick video on how I style my bangs and try it out for yourself!

Tools and product used:

Conair 1 and 1/4 inch curling iron

Alterna Caviar Working Hairspray (LOVE this hairspray)

drybar round brush

Did your blow-dry or brush your hair first or just let it air dry?

Using the curling iron gives it so much volume! This tutorial makes me want to bring my bangs back, even though they never work with my cowlick!

That’s why I like using the curling iron – If I happen to let my hair air dry, it’s super flat and the curling iron gives it a boost! P.S. I have a widow’s peak and slight cowlick, and it STILL gives me issues.

Thanks so much! I know wands are often preferred, but I can’t part with my drugstore curling irons!
