The last time I wore a red linen dress, I lamented the fabric’s obligatory wrinkles that everyone says I have to just embrace. Well, this time I did just that. I’ll admit, I was a little self conscious about them and if there were magically a steamer nearby, I probably would’ve given it a pass midway through the day. But such is life that the most comfortable fabrics aren’t wrinkle-free and steamers are not abundant in public spaces. So it goes.

Wrinkles be darned, I got many compliments in this dress. I love all of my d.Ra pieces (hi, ladies!) but lately, I’ve been particularly enamored. I’ve also been carrying around this bag quite a bit, proving that even a statement bag can be used as my everyday, as long as the pop of color is red. Red and blush, I’m telling you. They’re my neutrals;)

  1. I love the look! Your perfectly applied lipstick coordinates beautifully with your dress, and your hair looks very pretty.
I like the way you wear the wide-brim hat tilted slightly back, accenting your hairstyle, and how the round sunnies add to the over-all vibe of the outfit.
I love the colour, shape, puffy sleeves and practical pockets of your off-the-shoulder red linen dress, and the beautiful way you styled it in this outfit!
