Galentine’s Day Brunch

Brooklyn Brigade

This week we hosted a Galentine’s Day Brunch at the studio, and it was so fun to get together with a bunch of my friends! During the winter it’s easy to go into hibernation mode, but Valentine’s Day was the perfect time to make an exception. Erin made this giant floral heart backdrop for the studio and we all had fun taking turns taking photos with it.

It was refreshing to host a group at my studio, since most days I’m working alone or with a really small team. When I started the studio, I wanted to create a community space where I could gather with other creatives to support and inspire each other. After our brunch, I’m feeling inspired to recommit to building a community around my little creative studio and come up with some fun events this year! If you’ve came to one of our craft days or closet sales before, what other events would you like to see?

Fun pics! That flower heart is everything! I’d love to make/have a smaller version for my apartment.

Yep! Hosted Galentine’s this year too. Everything pink…Dirty Shirley’s to drink, and old fashion Valentine making, with doilies and stamps.

Sounds fun! I love the idea of making old fashion valentines with your friends!

I’m loving your posts, here in New Zealand we’re sweltering & melting, it’s the middle of summer! Love the idea of galentines day, I’m organizing this with my besties, thanks for the idea, with love and hope from Tauranga New Zealand x

Thanks, Sara! We love it too! I’m trying to figure out a way to repurpose it, it would be a shame to let it go to waste!

what beautiful photos 🙂 I’ve never really been into celebrating Valentines day but I may have to change that this year! The backdrop as well is stunning

As a big Parks & Rec fan, I strongly approve of Galentine’s Day- haha! And once again, Erin knocked it out of the park with this backdrop!

    Happy Valentine’s Day!

Thanks, Diana! You don’t need it to be Valentine’s Day to plan a little get-together for your friends 🙂

I’m all into brunches but when they’re in company of such a great girl squad AND Valentine’s Day themed there’s nothing better than that!
