One of our favorite Fall activities is apple picking. It’s not just about the apples — although those are great, too (Pink Lady apples for me, please!) — it’s the whole experience of going to the country, eating apple cider donuts and hot apple cider, and just getting out and enjoying the gorgeous weather. On this particular day, we didn’t bring Miku and I felt horribly guilty about it. I didn’t realize it was dog friendly until we got there, so I made sure to bring her just a few days later. She goes on just about every adventure with us, big and small! We recently got back from Nashville and she had a great time with our family and their dog. I’ll share more pictures from that trip, soon!

Oh my gosh, you guys could not be any cuter!

Is that a tattoo of you as a Russian nesting doll on Bobby’s forearm??

And have you ever shown a close-up of your dog’s tattoo on your calf?? I’ve been sort of thinking about getting a tattoo (and it would be my first) of my best boy Caleb, who I just lost this past May. But I’m so afraid – what if the face/eyes/expression isn’t right??

All of these photographs from your visit to the apple orchard are fabulous! Your hairstyle, eyelashes and perfectly applied lipstick all look beautiful (as usual) and I love that outfit! I love the combined look of the burgundy coloured Bershka corduroy pinafore dress with the dark blue top and very colourfully knit cardigan. It’s a lovely outfit.

Thank you so much! I just realized I wore the same sweater twice, at the same orchard on different days. Clearly it’s a go-to!

What a fun adventure! How far is this apple picking orchard from NYC? I always enjoy the roadtrips that you share on the blog. All the activities outside of the big city are such a nice contrast to where my mind usually goes about big city living.

It’s about 1.5 hours from where I live, which isn’t so bad when you consider it takes an hour to get uptown! We love getting out and enjoying the quiet outside of the city. Keeps us sane.
