Four Ways to Style a Jumpsuit

Four Ways to Style a Jumpsuit

It’s time for another wardrobe remix. Last time, I showed four ways to style overall dresses. Today, I’m starting with this Faithfull the Brand Lea JumpsuitĀ to show you four ways to style a jumpsuit. It’s also available here (see more from Faithfull the Brand here) and comes in a dress version. If you want a budget version, I like this one!

When I first bought this jumpsuit, I loved it but wasn’t sure how often I’d wear it. It’s quite the statement piece! However, I’ve surprised myself and worn it a whole lot. In addition to this holiday look, I recreated four ways I’ve styled this jumpsuit since I bought it. Check them out below, and let me know which look is your favorite.

Look One:

Faithfull the Brand Lea Jumpsuit

Club Monaco pink coat (old, but this one looks like the same style)

Pop & Suki box bagĀ

Anthropologie scarfĀ (sold out, but this one looks very similar and is under $10!)

Sam Edelman Lulie pumps

Light pink with forest green is one of those unexpected color combos that I adore. On second thought, I guess in this day of banana leaf wallpaper and millennial pink furniture, it’s no longer an unexpected color combo, is it? Either way, I think this one might be my favorite of the bunch. I love the light pink, the longer coat, and the matchy-matchy neck scarf.

Look Two:

Madewell chambray tie shirt

Sezane sneakersĀ

straw hat (similar)

Miku tote, painted by my friend Samara!

Here’s a very casual look from when I was in a warmer climate. I’d call this my weekend look — it’s a brunch and farmer’s market kind of outfit!

Look Three:

lace mock neck blouse (old, but this one is very similar)

thrifted belt

Madewell motorcycle jacket

strappy Mary Janes (similar)

I have a short and wide torso with very little waist definition, so if I don’t have a voluminous skirt on, I don’t like to emphasize it with a belt. However, since I wore this with a leather jacket, I liked the addition of the belt — and I wanted you to see what it looked like without the jacket. I love the combination of feminine lace with something a little edgier, like this moto jacket.

Look Four:

oversized mustard sweater (old Free People), but this is similar)

Seychelles Rehearse Heels

vintage head scarf (something like this would work!)

I’d say this one is the outfit you’d most likely see me in on any given day. An oversized sweater and flowy pants + cozy and like wearing pajamas, only more socially acceptable in the outside world. Add my favorite heels (they’re SO comfy!) and a scarf and you’re good to go. Just make sure you check out my tutorials on how to tie a head scarf.
