Halloween Exterior Home Decor

This is my first time ever doing exterior Halloween home decor, because I’ve always lived in apartments until now! Everything you see in this post (except for the real pumpkins and straw bales) is from HomeGoods (duh!), a longtime partner of Keikolynn.com. Even well before we established a partnership, I got almost all of my holiday decor from there. It’s the best place to get unique holiday items at a great price, and every year I find more and more new things to slowly build up my collection.

Halloween Exterior Home Decor ghost and pumpkins

Back in 2019, I bought “Ghosty Boy” while I was visiting in Florida — a similar looking version of this but without the bats and darker glaze. He now lives with my sister, and I have since become the proud owner of 2 new ghosty boys.

Wreath Duo

I went to several different HomeGoods to find a matching wreath duo, but alas, I could not! So instead, I went with two different ones that paired well together. That’s actually the thing I love about HomeGoods, though. Every single one has different merchandise to choose from. It’s kind of like a treasure hunt! You can go to 5 different stores and have a completely different selection.

Doorbell

This doorbell was my favorite find. Its eye opens and it says different things each time you ring the bell. Perfect for trick-or-treaters!

Walkway with Halloween Decor

It does drive me a bit nuts that our walkway isn’t centered with the door, nor is our door centered with the wall, but what are you gonna do? We hung the Haunted bunting a little too low and it kept getting stuck in the door, so it’s back in the guest room. But it looked cute while it lasted!

Meet Mummy Boy! He’s a little spoopy baby mummy and I love him. Naturally, all items shown here are from HomeGoods. The glittery skeleton pumpkin was one of the last things I purchased, and the starry pumpkin is an old purchase from 2019 or 2020. All the years are running together, now!

pumpkin baskets and pumpkin

I loved these vintage looking cats the moment I saw them at HomeGoods. They’re meant to hold a tea candle or LED candle, but I didn’t have any smaller LED candles when I shot this and didn’t want the fire hazard of a flame on top of straw. I’ve since gotten some smaller LED candles to light them up. These are the LED candles I used for everything else — I HIGHLY recommend them. They are fantastic and affordable!

Now that I’ve gotten a chance to decorate for Halloween, I can’t wait to plan for Christmas. I haven’t decided if I’m going more traditional or pastel on the exterior, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
