Fall Floral Escape

We spent a magical Fall morning at Queens County Farm Museum at their Floral Escape installation with Courtney, Paris, and Lori. There were barely any people there. And I think the trick is to go early on a weekday (and buy tickets in advance). I wore piles and piles of fake hair, as one does. If I’m getting dressed up to leave my apartment — a rare occurrence in 2020 — I’m going all out!

We tried to enjoy Fall as much as possible, but due to work and weather (and you know…the pandemic!), we didn’t get out as much this year as usual. But the days we were able to enjoy were extra special: the leaves were unbelievably gorgeous outside of the city, the air felt clearer, and everything felt just a little bit sweeter. The apple cider donuts and ginger molasses ice cream didn’t hurt, either!
