I took my new @canonusa R50 mirrorless camera from I took my new @canonusa R50 mirrorless camera from @bhphoto on my recent trip to Mexico and wanted to share some of that trip with you. The R50 is a travel-friendly mirrorless camera and a great option for someone like me who likes to shoot photo and video interchangeably but doesn’t always want to bring their bulkier gear. Years ago, I took a pic with the Dapper Dans in coordinating holiday looks but Bobby’s video was a Richard Splett special (iykyk) so I was determined to redo it. I thought third time would be a charm but no luck. 😂 Thank you to @colormemagic @colormeparis and @thisfellow for never judging my desire to infiltrate the Dapper Dans. Piece of Keik: Keiko Lynn Makes a Holiday Dress. 🎄 I wanted to make a Christmas tree-inspired dress for awhile, and though I still would like to recreate the Grease 2 December dress (maybe next month?) I started with something I could see myself wearing to any holiday party or you know, just twirling around the city. All episodes are written, filmed, and edited by me and narrated by Baz Jones. I made the dress with my @brothersews sewing machine and the decorations were made on my @cricut joy xtra. Fabric was from my local @joann_stores — I bought the remainder of the bolt and used the remnants for a few different projects (one of which is still coming soon!) #sewing #diy #christmasdress

While I’m sad that Halloween is over, putting up my @homegoods Christmas decorations extra early helped to heal my holiday heart. #ad I’ve been collecting pink Christmas decor from HomeGoods since we lived in Brooklyn, and I look forward to displaying it every year. This year, I added a cozy Fair Isle blanket, more candy decorations, and yes…I got another deer for my ever-growing collection. She’s pink and has a tree hat! You know I had to add her to the family. Everything you see here is from HomeGoods, from the pink Christmas tree to the Merry & Bright sign. It’s my absolute favorite place to find unique Christmas decor. p.s. One is an extrovert, one is an introvert. One always sees the silver lining, one is always in their feelings. Guess which is which 😂 I think this Halloween couples costume is the most fitting of all. Maybe next time we’ll be a golden retriever and a cat? Tigger and Eeyore?
