We’re gearing up for the Bust Craftacular (December 6th!) and I’m behind on my posts. Luckily, I have quite a few from last week, because I’ve been busy/pajama-ing the last few days while I work/punch myself in the face repeatedly. Nevertheless, it’s nice to look back and think, “Last week was awesome.” I met up with my good friend Jason (my prom date!) and his boyfriend for lunch. I love seeing Jason because we can go a year without seeing each other and pick up right where we left off. Friends like that are hard to come by.
That was last week. This week has been a bash my head against the wall kind of week – but I’ll save the sorry details for my friends, bless their patient little hearts. I’ll just say that I’ve heard “You have the worst luck of anyone I know” more and more these days. It doesn’t take much to make me happy; it really doesn’t. It just seems like things keep going awry and it’s rather frustrating if not downright maddening!
Yesterday, I sat at my sewing machine looking defeated and on the verge of tears. Kim walked up to me and said, “Do you need a hug? You look like you need hug.”
I did. It helped.
Sometimes you just need a little reminder that it isn’t the whole world who is against you. I always have my friends and family.
Love love,
Keiko Lynn
