Bag Lady
My back hurts. A lot. This is due to a variety of reasons:
- Our box spring couldn’t fit up the stairs, so we just have the mattress on the bed.
- I am hunched over a sewing machine for hours a day.
- I carry my life in my bag.
From time to time, I’ve thought about doing a “what’s in my bag” post, but then I remember that I can’t fit that much stuff in one frame. I carry bags that are unnecessarily huge, and still find a way to test their max capacity. But my back hurts. My shoulders hurt. When Jenny sent me this little tiny bag, I decided to give myself a break and carry it around for a few days. It is so cute and so light. But let me tell you, it was difficult for me to pack this bag with only essentials; I am not a practical girl. So I have a question for all of you girls who carry around cute little clutches and tiny handbags: how do you do it? Teach me how to downsize. I know I don’t need half of the stuff I carry with me…but what if I do? 🙂
Also…to fellow animal lovers: how do you wear black? I love wearing black, but I rarely wear much of it, because it seems like no matter how many lint rollers I use, my animals’ hair always follows me. Any secrets you want to share?
