We’re at that strange point in the season when it’s warming up just enough to entertain the idea of shorts, but only if you have a thick sweater/cape/blanket to bundle up with. I’m not complaining; I am thrilled with the impending increase in temperatures. In fact, I’ve been doing a little bit of spring cleaning in my closet, slowly packing away the winter gear and making room for the rest. I don’t know why I’m surprised by this at all, but I’ve come to a realization: I have way too much stuff. You would be shocked if you saw the amount of clothing I donate/took to Beacon’s – and yet I still can’t fit everything in my closet(s). I also have way too many things I don’t need – trinkets, books I’ve already read and probably won’t read again, coloring books (seriously) and old journals – and I’m having a way easier time getting rid of all of them. I’m getting there. I’m going to keep watching Hoarders until I’m scared straight.
