Makeup Monday: Urban Bride

I’ve been getting a lot of requests for more understated looks, and since last week’s look was super dramatic, I felt this was the perfect time to dial it back a bit. Urban Decay recently sent me their new Urban Bride kit, which was a perfect starting point for a soft, neutral look. Of course, I had to add a little something to the eyes – but I kept it pretty simple. What I used and step by step instructions on how to achieve this look are after the jump.
What I used:Urban Bride kit – gift from Urban Decay (comes with All Nighter makeup setting spray, supercurl curling mascara, razor sharp finishing powder, marshmallow body powder, primer potion, Midnight Cowboy Lip Junkie lipgloss – I used everything except the finishing powder in this look)Urban Decay Sin eyeshadow (lid)MAC Woodwinked shadow (crease)Urban Decay 24/7 shadow pencil in Rehab (liner)Smashbox photo finish primerMake Up For Ever HD liquid foundation in 110MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Refined (cheeks)
Start with your usual face routine – for me, that’s moisturizer, primer and foundation (I went for the HD instead of Laura Mercier for this look because I needed the extra coverage). Next, let’s focus on the eyes:
Clean up any fallout, apply blush and spray entire face with All Nighter setting spray. Dust marshmallow body powder along your collarbone and shoulders (optional) for some shimmer. Finished!
