Bobby and I made it back to Brooklyn, last night. I woke up this morning in a daze, wondering where I was and how I got here. It didn’t help that it was greyer than grey outside, making my room feel a lot more depressing than it actually is. I love New York but I always get a little bummed out after a Florida trip, because I miss my family. Look at my sweet little niece’s cute face. Wouldn’t you miss her? We shared bunk beds when I was visiting, and I couldn’t have asked for a cuter roommate.
About the outfit: In order to prevent excessively overpacking, I downsized to a more realistic suitcase size. I still ended up packing more shoes than necessary, but I digress. I ended up wearing a few of the same pieces more than once, which if you think about it, is a way more realistic way to look at your closet. What’s even better is that my sister has one of those fancy newfangled contraptions called a washing machine…and a dryer. We in Brooklyn have to schlep our clothes to the laundromat; I almost forgot how convenient it is to have a laundry room!
