Layers of cotton leave me feeling cooler than the gauziest of synthetic garments. On this particular day, the weather tricked us into thinking fall was just around the corner. It is, I suppose, but then the temperatures went back up and I remembered that summer still has a little life left in it. That’s okay by me, because even though fall is my favorite season, it goes too quickly. Before we know it, it’s winter forever. I’ll hang onto the sunshine and longer days that summer affords; who wants a dark sky at five in the evening?
