A little bit of menswear.

Bobby’s wearing: Modus Man shirt, H+M sweater and jeans, JD Fisk shoes, Brooks Brothers tie, vintage tie bar.

Bobby has always had his own, unique style. He loves mixing patterns and colors, collects vintage tie bars and pins, and has a stash of fun socks that I like to steal when my feet are cold. So when Modus Man asked me to design a shirt for them, I immediately had Bobby in mind. He was along for all of the decisions, down to the fabric, buttons, and even the stitching. The shirt above is one of their classic styles, which is slim enough to be layered underneath even  the thinnest of sweaters, and has fun, subtle details that change the whole look when the sleeves are rolled up and the tie comes off. Since Modus Man already caters to guys like Bobby, who appreciate the little details – contrast cuffs and collar lining, interesting patterns, and a tailored, slim fit – it was easy for us to marry our two aesthetics and create a shirt we are all proud of. I just got a peek at the final product and I can’t wait until I can share it with you all. I promise, we’ll have it photographed and ready for purchase very soon! In the meantime, I made a pinterest board full of some of my inspirations behind the collaboration, if you want to check it out and guess what direction we’re going in.
