20 Different Eyeliner Styles with Urban Decay Razor Sharp Liquid Eyeliner
I was practically an unofficial spokesperson for Urban Decay’s 24/7 liquid liners, so you can only imagine how devastated (only slightly hyperbolic) I was when they discontinued them. So, imagine my joy when they confirmed they were replacing them with a whole new line: Urban Decay Razor Sharp Liquid Eyeliner. They’re available on Ulta, Sephora, and Urban Decay‘s own site in 20 different shades, some old and some new, with upgraded packaging and a new formula. Urban Decay invited me to their studio to try out the new product and film a couple of videos for our partnership (as seen on my snapchat), and then I took the whole line home with me for a full test run. And by “home,” I mean the airbnb I was staying in. And by “test run,” I mean that I did 20 different liquid eyeliner looks with every new shade of the Urban Decay Razor Sharp Liquid Eyeliners — some normal, some a little kooky. Makeup should be fun, you know? Keep reading to see all 20 eyeliner looks, and my thoughts on the new formula / which ones you need to pick up. Let me know which colors and looks are your favorite!
Some shades are more reminiscent of the old formula than others — you know how the old ones wouldn’t budge, but you could kind of peel them off in a pinch? I loved that. These are a little easier to remove, which could be a plus or a minus, depending on how you look at it. They dry down pretty quickly, and like the old formula, they require shaking before application. The new colors are gorgeous, and even though they didn’t bring back one of my favorites (Smog), Zodiac and Snakebite are close enough to make me happy. In fact, Zodiac might be my favorite of the bunch! Perversion and Demolition (both re-releases) are must-haves, and Intergalactic, Kush, Zodiac, Goldrush, and Revolver are some of my favorites. Basically, the metallics are the real standouts in terms of application, finish, and color payoff. Overall, I’m thrilled to have my favorite liquid eyeliners back, even if they’re a little different!
Big thanks to Urban Decay for partnering on this post, and for showing me a great time in California!
