Weekend Link Roundup
It’s officially Fall, and I’m already looking forward to Halloween! You all probably know that planning my costumes is a big thing for me, and I’ve got a few that I’m attempting. I’m still looking for a main component of one of them, so if any of you have a silver mod mini dress that you’re selling, please let me know! If not, I might end up making it. While I head off to shoot an upcoming makeup tutorial (oh man, you guys, we have a lot of tutorials coming up! they just need to be edited…), check out some of the links I’ve been clicking on.
- The reality of fictional New York apartments. Fun fact: I actually went and looked at an apartment in the building that Dan from Gossip Girls lived in. In real life, that loft is a freaking fortune. Don’t let TV fool you!
- I love Lazy Oaf. Should I splurge on that jacket? I haven’t decided.
- “Then I paid five thousand dollars a month to live in the garbage chute of a postwar luxury condominium on First Avenue. It’s important to live in terrible places when you’re young.” – from No, I’m From New York.
- Beautiful photographs of abandoned places in the UK. See also: Abandoned Dreamland theme park in Nara, Japan.
- Turn your vegetable scraps into vegetables, again.
- Hello, you dreamy little gown.
- Please notify Eleven of this recall. What will she eat?!
- Still obsessed with #16 for those [almost] no makeup days.
