The temperature reached 60 degress and we and all of New York seemed to have the same idea: let’s get out and enjoy some nature. We drove to Bear Mountain and the crowd was so great that they had to shut down the roadway to the top, and everyone was parking their cars along the sides of the road (including us) and hiking through the paths. We didn’t really “hike” (although we did take a path that was much easier on the way up than it was on the way down!) but wandered through the woods and enjoyed the beautiful day. It’s quite a beautiful sight, having snow on the ground when the weather is so lovely and temperate. Clearly we weren’t the only ones who felt that way!
