I managed to fit many of my holiday traditions into the little bit of time I had in NYC while moving apartments — I’m still in Brooklyn, just a new apartment. I had tea at the plaza, went shopping at the holiday markets, saw Central Park as a winter wonderland, visited the Rockefeller tree a few times, drank hot cider while walking through the city and looking at all the windows. Saks 5th Ave always has my favorite windows, and this year took it over the top for me, because it was all Snow White themed! A Snow White Christmas? You know that’s my dream come true. I went on opening night and they had Snow White, the prince, and all seven dwarfs there for a performance and light show. It was such a great way to kick off the holiday season. Needless to say, I visited the store’s windows a few more times. I’m now off to Disney to fully live my Snow White Christmas fantasy, with almost all of my family!
