Retro Swimsuit Shopping Guide: vintage inspired bikinis and one piece bathing suits

I’m usually a one trick pony when it comes to bathing suits: I love a retro one piece. I used to absolutely hate bathing suit shopping, until I found that one swimsuit I wanted to live in. That was such a game changer for me! Once I found a style I was not only comfortable but confident in, I just bought variations of that. I still have that first swimsuit (and a couple of others in different colors/prints), but I’ve been trying out a few new ones, like this striped one with a cutout. It’s a good feeling to feel confident in a swimsuit, you know? It’s weird to think there was a time when I dreaded it. Now that I know what I like, I’m more open to experimenting and a lot less likely to feel defeated or bummed about the experience. After all, if I don’t like it, I still have my trusty retro one piece bathing suits!
