I have been putting off getting a new computer for oh, I don’t know…a year? Honestly, it’s why my updates have been less frequent — I have so many shoots to go through and edit, but it is such a painful process when everything is SO SLOW. My laptop is 5 years old, which in my world of everyday, pretty heavy use makes it a dinosaur. It has gotten to the point where I dread having to edit any photos or do anything beyond writing an email, because even opening a raw photo takes for.ever. The beachball and I are well acquainted; we spend more time together than even my closest friends. And trust me, I’ve done everything I can to keep this in tip top condition, to stretch out its life and delay the inevitable. I know I need to just go out and buy a new computer because it’s literally a part of my job, but somehow it feels akin to going to the DMV. Not the actual purchase process (although, oof, dropping that money never feels good) but the setting everything back up. How lazy am I? Clearly, very lazy. I’m ashamed.

I had to type all this out to make myself quit my cryin’ and procrastinating and go and get a new computer; somehow, seeing it all typed out makes me realize how ridiculous it is that I haven’t taken the time to do it. Please don’t judge me. I promise I’ll get one this week.

In other news, I’ve been on a pretty heavy vintage search for some upcoming projects and there are few things I enjoy more than a vintage hunt. My last journey left me empty-handed when it came to things I was actually searching for (you’ll see!) *but* I found a couple of cute pieces for my personal collection. This little cotton, embroidered bolero was too cute to pass up, and I found a perfect 50s cotton day dress that I’m excited to wear while the weather is still hot.
