Someone recently asked me if I had a favorite piece of clothing in my closet, and I immediately thought of this vintage trapeze dress. I actually have it in two colors; I happened across it while searching the brand for similar styles. My mom bought this one for me several years back, and I love it just as much today as I did the day I got it. I know it’s not exactly exciting for a style blogger (if you can call me that) to wear pieces over and over, but it’s also not realistic to have a new ensemble for every photo I take — and quite frankly, I don’t even have the closet space for that. I’d much rather stock it with pieces I’ll wear for years, whether it’s a dress like this or a great pair of jeans I can wear over and over and over. And, you know, one of a kind, super special vintage pieces that are so particular that I’ve only gotten to wear them once. It’s all about balance, isn’t it?
