This dress by Ganni is made of lightweight, stretchy mesh; the top is sheer and the bottom flowing and airy. None of those are very Fall, and yet I’ve found myself wearing it several times during the season: with a longer coat, a moto jacket, belted or on its own, with sneakers, flats, pumps, lace up ankle boots, or sandals. On this particular day, it was that perfect mix of warm-enough-for-open-toe and cool-enough-for-a-jacket. That’s my perfect weather. The just cozy enough kind of weather that allows for bare legs and a sweater. And it just so happens that my perfect weather coincided with peak Fall foliage, just before the rain came and took half the leaves away.
