Galentine's Day Beauty

Is it just me, or did Valentine’s Day get a whole lot better when we started talking Galentine’s Day? Don’t get me wrong; I love celebrating love, but spreading that sentiment to all of the special gals in our life makes it all the sweeter. And candy, of course…that can also make it sweeter. It gives us a great excuse to plan quality time with our friends and give them little treats to show our appreciation.

Galentine’s Day gifts don’t have to break the bank; I find that some of the most fun things to give and receive are little beauty items or accessories. Sheet masks and fun nail polishes are always a welcome treat.

Of course, don’t forget to treat yourself! This Galentine’s day, I put together a makeup look that features a few highlighted products from the Galentine’s beauty section at Walmart: a special edition NYX soft matte lip cream, a gorgeous Milani eyeshadow palette, the perfect mascara for lower lashes, and a spritz of a soft, crowd pleasing fragrance (okay, that was just for me). Can you believe this gorgeous eyeshadow palette is under $15? It’s unbelievable! They’re one of my favorite brands for wallet-friendly cosmetics with great pigments and texture, and Walmart has a broad selection of their products.

Walmart has really upped their game in the beauty department — have you noticed? They have a great fragrance selection, a great selection of natural products, and carry so many different brands that are worth checking out (like Flower — I’ve loved all the cosmetics I’ve tried from them).
