Spring Style: yellow gingham dress

I was in the market for some new flats — mine are all looking pretty raggedy. So, I took advantage of the Shopbop sale and bought a few new pairs to try out. In addition to these buttery soft ballet flats above (they were comfy straight out of the box!), I picked up the same pair in black (SO glad), and these pink pointy flats by AEYDE. I also bought these mod looking heels from Sam Edelman. However, they were about a half size too big, so I’m going to exchange them for an 8.5. So I should be all set for shoes for awhile. Although, my pigeon toed self has already scuffed the toes because I’m always tripping over my own feet. Hopefully that won’t show as much in the black version.

I also bought this yellow gingham dress, the daisy crochet bag, and a couple of dreamy dresses you’ll see in future posts because I’m a sucker for a 25% off sale and I had some left over credits to spend. Believe it or not, I don’t shop that much unless it’s vintage. I make an occasional modcloth, asos, or shopbop order but it’s usually one big order and then nothing for months. Or one big purchase like a selkie dress. It makes it feel a lot more special! It was like Christmas Day when my order arrived, and of course I wore 3 things at once. As one should!
