Harry Potter x Pottery Barn Teen
The Harry Potter collection from Pottery Barn Teen is downright magical. I fell in love with the Nagini mirror immediately, which found its home in my office with the upside down wallpaper. I had an idea to dress in outfits inspired by each of the Hogwarts Houses — Ravenclaw, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Gryffindor — with Slytherin looking on through the Nagini mirror.
Somehow, I always have these self portrait ideas when there is just an hour left of sunlight. Each outfit’s details are below, and make sure to keep scrolling to see a couple more pieces from the collection, hosted in Bobby’s office. He’s a huge Harry Potter fan and was like a little kid when he opened these gifts from PB Teen!
Harry Potter x Pottery Barn Teen
Ravenclaw: thrifted blouse and pinafore, low heel pumps
Slytherin: bow blouse (old from Atlantic Pacific x Halogen, but there are still plus size options in red!)
Hufflepuff: vintage blazer from Hello Tallulah, vintage shirt, ModCloth “Overall winner jumper skirt”, Madden Girl Kassidy chunky lug sole platform loafers, yellow beret, vintage pin
Gryffindor: Keiko X Bonlook glasses, English Factory blouse, Modcloth skirt, Seychelles heels. Wearing the drawstring ponytail pinned up in the back.
The Time-Turner clock is really beautiful, with engraving, star cutouts, an hourglass, and a working clock. Click play to watch it in motion. This is a stop motion. So, don’t expect it to move around on its own (it’s not automatic), unless you know the magic spell!
Bobby picked out the Time Turner and the Golden Snitch clock, and even got the Phoenix floor lamp to replace his (which I am taking for my office, now!) That one came in last, so I’ll have to take photos of it soon.
I like that the Golden Snitch clock just looks like a regular snitch when it’s closed, but has a surprise clock on the inside. Each of the pieces are so special!
A huge thank you to Pottery Barn Teen for sending us some pieces from the collection. You can check out the whole collection here.
