Fear No Mess (with guest star Miku!)
It’s time for part three of our mini-series with method, bringing you everyday tips for your retro (or modern!) life. Next up? The importance of using safe ingredients in a pet friendly home, featuring our special and oh-so-talented guest Miku. Look at those moves!
Miku and our kitties are the rulers of our household — Miku in particular is the absolute queen — and they’re always our first priority. Keeping our pet friendly Brooklyn apartment clean requires daily maintenance, and with such close quarters it is incredibly important to us that we maintain a safe environment with non-toxic cleaning products. We’ve been using method all-purpose cleaner for years our for everyday messes and cleanups (shown in french lavender), so despite our very posed shoot (hi, are we totally models, yet?), it’s quite the natural pairing. It’s handy for just about any cleanup, big or small, and with four furry animals running around and one avid cook in the kitchen (read: not me — that’s Bobby!), we rely on it quite often. We’re a fear no mess kind of household. Life’s too short to live like you’re in a museum. Make a mess? Just clean it up!
What we use for wiping down counters will inevitably be transferred to the tiny paws of our little fur babies. And let’s be honest, we can try and try and try to keep our cats from jumping on the counters, the tables, and even on top of the fridge, but unlike Miku the most magical and perfect being of the universe, they will never ever listen to us. So instead, we make sure we clean up with non-toxic products with naturally derived ingredients. As usual, we just bend to their will, tidy up their messes, and then relish every moment of our mutual, unconditional love. It’s just part of being a pet lover.
Thanks to method for partnering with me on this post, and stay tuned for the next (and last!) of our mini-series of everyday tips for your retro (or modern!) life. #fearnomess
