5 minute beauty routine tutorial with eos

I’m not afraid to go out without makeup — an anyone who knows me in real life knows that most days, I’m wearing some concealer and a lip color and nothing else. But still, sometimes I want that fresh, rosy “no makeup” look, which requires some makeup. Because without it, I look a little washed out. I teamed up with eos to show you a five minute routine with their new eos Aqua Dynamic Lip Gloss, for those days when I want to look fresh faced with a rosy glow. The cool thing about this lip gloss is that it gives you a natural, I-just-ate-a-popsicle stain (the color changes based on your lip chemistry) with a moisturizing, glossy finish. Have five minutes to spare? Follow these quick steps!

  1. Dab on some cream blush to the apples of your cheeks. Tap tap tap until it’s blended. I also like using a damp beautyblender to sheer it out, but your fingers will work just fine! I take the leftover and dab it on the bridge of my nose to give a subtle, sun-kissed look.
  2. Apply liquid highlighter to your cheekbones and right down the bridge of your nose (optional), and blend with your fingers. Don’t swipe, just tap your fingers and blend outward.
  3. If you have long, full lashes, you can go straight for your mascara and cut out a solid minute. I swear, once you get used to lashes these easy everyday ones take no time. I, however, have short and straight lashes that need a little more of a boost. I grab my everyday, wispy fake lashes for the days when I can’t be bothered with liner. These have a super thin strip at the base, so I can skip liner and make it look a little more natural. Tip for newbies: cut them to fit your eye shape, apply the glue and let it sit until it gets tacky before applying. I use tweezers to apply, looking down so I can get them as close to my lash line as possible. Then I secure the edges.
  4. Lastly, swipe on some eos Aqua Dynamic Lip Gloss to complete your look. This may look clear, but its color depends on your chemistry! Once applied, it takes on a rosy, iridescent hue with a glossy finish. It looks like a more saturated version of my natural lip color, and is especially great for those days when I want to give my lips a break from my usual matte products and use something more hydrating.

That’s it! All done:)
