I’ve been especially into maxi dresses and midi dresses, in the past year, after a very long time of being a mostly mini kind of girl. Don’t get me wrong, I love a mini dress (clearly haven’t stopped wearing them), but I find myself grabbing longer dresses more and more. There’s something so easy about them, and they instantly make me look a little more polished. Honestly, that’s why I love dresses in general. It’s a one and done outfit — much like a romper or a jumpsuit, only you don’t have to get completely naked when you go to the restroom.
But this dress. Let’s talk about this dress.
This is clearly not a throw it on, go run some errands kind of dress. This is a make you feel like a million bucks kind of dress. I bought my first Zayan The Label dress a couple years ago, and kept coming back to see their new pieces. This dress, however, was loaned to me on my trip to Greece and boyyyy did I have a hard time letting it go. Unfortunately, it was long since sold out and I couldn’t find one to call my own. But for a short time, I was swishing and spinning in a fairytale wonder of dress, all over a fairytale island — and it was good. It was very good.
