My 4 Favorite Rosy Lipsticks
Whenever I post a photo or stories on Instagram, I always get questions on what lipstick I’m wearing. Today, I’m sharing my most worn rosy lip colors that I have on heavy rotation (I’ll get to the red ones, later!). One thing to note: I wear Too Faced “Freshly Baked” a lot, but didn’t include in this list because it’s discontinued. Let me know which one is your favorite!
My 4 Favorite Rosy Lipsticks
Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Lips Liquid Lipstick in Too Bad I’m Bad
The Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Lips is a different kind of liquid lipstick, in that the formula feels less like a liquid and more like a melted down lipstick. I actually really like it, as it’s creamy and less drying. I love “Too Bad I’m Bad” — it’s the perfect warm, rosy hue.
Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Babe Alert
Smashbox “Babe Alert” is not only my most asked about lip color, it’s my absolute favorite. It’s a little more of a muted rose than Charlotte Tilbury’s “Too Bad I’m Bad”. And the pointed doe tip applicator is great for perfecting the edges. I’m just going to go ahead and say it:
Smashbox, if you discontinue “Babe Alert” (as you did with my beloved “Bang Bang”), I’m going to pitch a fit!
theBalm Meet Matte Hughes in Committed
This is one of those lip colors I wore to death, forgot to replace, and then happened upon during a trip down memory lane. I ordered a replacement immediately! The color is a rosy brown (that 90s feeling hue) and it smells like Girl Scout Thin Mints. You can order on Amazon or get it at Kohl’s.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Backtalk
I’ve been wearing a lot of liquid lipsticks — three of the four listed here are liquid formulas — but I always love a good matte or semi-matte lipstick. On days when I want a cooler toned dusty rose, I reach for “Backtalk” by Urban Decay.
