March Hare and Mad Hatter Costumes

This a post to always remember the day my nephew and I dressed as the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, from Alice in Wonderland, for Halloween. Just looking at these photos brings me joy, and I had a particularly rough day so I figured it was a great time to look back on them and give them permanence on the blog. Ryder got so into character and really enjoyed this, which made me happy. I’ll always look back on these photos with fondness. He’s growing up so fast, so I really cherish each moment like this.

My costume came together mostly with thrift finds and things I already had, but a Mad Hatter look is easy to piece together. Find a funky blazer, some green pants and a blouse, then add a bow tie and a giant hat! The tea party setup is mostly from HomeGoods, and Ryder’s outfit details for his March Hare costume are below.
